What a fool.

I don't understand why a guy like that he got such a decent physique if that's how he trains.

Apart from "all drugs" of course.  ::)

Nonetheless, he should hang his head in shame for posting a vid like that on Youtube. He'd get far more respect if he put 1,500 on and repped perfect form.

Why do these guys even need to remove the safety locks?

LOL exactly my thoughts...it think the movement was so short he probably could let the safety locks on

I think I got the final say so on this one...Show me him doing squats ass to the grass with 405lbs for the same amount of reps on a free bar...never happen!  Leg press is a joke!  And i'm speaking from experience.  I once fell into the leg press trap and couldn't squat my ass off the toilet!  Total bullsh*t!!!

Fakhri claimed in Flex that he could front squat 455 for reps. ::)

yeah, that ROM is pathetic

However, I do think some people have too much range of motion on the LP sometimes- especially if you are really trying to focus on your quads. When I do really full ROM leg presses, it hits my glutes and hams too much

dont agree about some people having too much range of motion (as long as ass and back remain on the pad!!). Check out how mustafa mohammed does his leg presses in his video, thats the way to do them. full ROM leg presses is what makes your legs grow, quads and hamstrings!

as for the video: i didnt see any leg presses, just alot guys loading a machine.

PUT THE VIDEO UP LIAR  ::)

See jackass, this is why people can't stand you.  Just bc i don't tape myself like f ing moron doesn't mean i haven't done this weight.  I HAVE.  Ask others on here, its not some crazy lift.   I always do sets of 20 on the leg press bc i can't squat.  I HAVE done 9 plates aside for 20 reps.  Train with reps for awhile and you'll see its not so difficult.

Think about calling someone a liar before you do it fuck face

Judging by his leg development, I would say that 99% of the time Fakhri uses full ROM on exercises like the squat and leg press. This was clearly a stunt lift and I would hope he recognizes the very short ROM. Nonetheless, the guy has a great physique and is also a smart businessman, starting his own supp company instead of letting other supp co owners make money off his image and endorsement.

OMG...post a video.  ::)

Is that your favorite comeback?  9 plates a side is not super human for leg press dude.  Even I have done 10 a side for 10 full ROM reps.  No I don't have a video.  How do you squat 700 pounds,  or whatever your claim is this week, and think 900 or so pounds is the shit on leg press.  Just don't add up.  Actually I do have to give you props.  You do have a better build than 40% - 50% of the other "tennis players".  ;D

I claimed a 700 lbs squat tops and I posted a 240kg x 1 after some dbol...u do the math...and no it's not a comeback...it's just that only now I realize that no matter what I say u will never post a vid or a pic because u know u look less than average and u lift even less...oh well. exactly!  9 plates aside isn't crazy if youre into leg pressing, especially high reps leg pressing.  Stick to those fake plates Sevastase (a.k.a. twinkletoes)

Leg press machines can be very different. Different angle, different weight of the sled. Looking back a long time, I used to push 700 pounds when I was a teenager on the one we had back then at the gym. On one particular leg press that I can find in my current gym, I would not be able to do it even now. The sled weighs a ton and the angle of the sled's movement is insane.

So, being able to do X number of plates tells nothing. Even less if you use bad form.

exactly, it is tremendously variable

for example, i still like to use the vertical leg press from time to time. If you can work up to 4 plates a side, you are really doing some work

you obviously haven't been around enough egotistical gym assholes in your lifetime

I've been training for over 16 yrs now at many gyms. Trust me, these types exist everywhere.
