And whip Coutures ass again? LHW is getting pretty crowded now, although I am sure he will get the winner of Rampage-Henderson. But he beat the piss out of Randy the last two times, why not just creep up in weight and do it again?

The legitimate elite strikers...
Because striking is Chuck's forte, and the heavies are saturated with major talent now.

Chuck is part of the old guard that will be permanently relegated to B-class status.
I would be a happy man if Chuck, Leben, Bisping, Forrest Griffin, and Rich Franklin never make another appearance.

Possibly... if Randy's ego forces him to make it a boxing match.

I doubt he will ever beat Randy again though. He's starting to look out of shape.

Chucks problem is he got hooked on prescription drugs, if he can kick the habit and start training hard again, he may have a few more good years. Either way, he would whip Randys ass imo.

(Mezger isn't an elite striker, nor is Overeem, and both had Chuck loopey) He would get chewed on and spat out by a Mirko, Chiek Kongo, Napao would brutalize him, Vera could beat him on his feet and on the ground.

Perhaps those guys would beat him, but he would kick Randys ass again. Thats is all I suggested.

Do you think Dana would let Chuck go to heavyweight, or likes him at light-heavy, especailly with all the elite fighters they have now, but hell, maybe a 1 fight deal at heavy wouldn't be the worse idea, but as of late, call me crazy, but i think Randy might pull it off for a second time

Retiring now would be dumb. Purses are going to go through the roof in the next couple of years imo. 3 or 4 more years of making a few million a year would be in his best interest.

but that is assuming he would stay a title holder as a heavy weight and not just fighting chuck unless you mean he should drop down again

I don't think Chuck would beat Randy at HW. I think Randy is too comfortable at the weight and Chuck wouldn't be able to handle Randy in his natural weight.

Chuck would get killed by Couture now in the HWD, he's a different fighter, his striking has improved by leaps and bounds and he has the eye of the tiger again. He didn't have it the last two times him and chuck fought. Also randy is really strong, chuck wouldn't be able to handle his power at that weight class, did you see him smash gonzaga who was over 250 pounds with a beautiful slam??? It was awesome.

Agreed. Chuck would have to poke both of Randy's eyes out to win this time.
