Here we have a view of one of the sand trap areas.

And the second pic is one morning of a guy in the pool hooked up to an IV "because he was hungover."

I suppose some of it to pay the police to block roads, pay lifeguards, the race bag you get with goodies in it..

The full ironman is 700 bucks.

I just happend to be looking because I was seriously contemplating doing a half ironman next year, dont think I could do a full one

this is just the half ironman

1.2 mile (1.9K) swim, 56 mile (90.1K) bike, 13.1 mile (21.1K) run
