Thought that was what the sponsors paid for ? .. that's a lot of money to dole out  .. if most of it doesn't go to a charity it's not really something I'd do

again not sure. The half marathon I ran last weekend in NYC 60 percent of the 60 buck registration went to world hunger.

yea those ironman or half ironmans or no joke. Think I'm doing a triathlon in August..1/2 mile swim, 20 mile bike ride and 5 mile run

the triathalon sounds decent and do-able without suffering for days after .. very cool about the marathon money !!

I'd venture to think a triathlon is easier than run a full marathon (not easy)..But only way I know is to do a triathlon.. :-\
