R.I.P. Bodybuilding, the day Pro Bodybuilding died
« on: September 29, 2007, 10:46:56 PM »
I'm over pro bodybuilding, I have followed the Mr O for 20 years, and I can't take it anymore, it was bad enough when Dorian was stealing titles with a deformed body, now we have a fat, smooth, big-jawed boof head for a champion and Ronnie with his broken down carcas is beating guys like a young Dennis Wolf in his prime.  I am getting too old for this shit, time to take up golf I think

agreed, i think Wolf or Vic will make a good Mr O, but it just wont be the same without ronnie, no one has that type of character in the sport.

so something that happens once a year is preventing you from doing ANYTHING else.  That's fucking sad.

Being a veteran Schmoe for 20 years must have taken it's toll.

It's been dead for the last 7 years.

It seems the majority  on here simply like to complain for the sake of complaining.

Last year people made these very same complaints about Jay and his physique, and they were run off the board.  Now this year since he isn't the sexy choice...it's Let's bag on Jay and complain someone else should win.

agreed, i think Wolf or Vic will make a good Mr O, but it just wont be the same without ronnie, no one has that type of character in the sport.

1) Vic is only a little less blocky than Jay, and 2) what Ronnie character are we talking about? The 'God wants me to shoot steroids' one or the Bubba Gump impersonation?

The sport survived to the loss of Arnold, Haney, Dorian. Why should it be different with Ronnie

And Chic wonders why the prize money for the biggest show of the year is not even totalled for $1,000,000...yet the 75th place person in World Series of Poker wins nearly $100,000

You're right, yesterday Bodybuilding died. But not because of Jay Cutler. Rather because of "this".
