I have this felling that if another IFBB bodybuilder like Melvin wanted the task as the IFBB Althete's Rep....he could gain the support (votes) of the other competitors over Bob.

I get the same feeling  ;)

Just curious Bob, how does any ifbb pro go about taking your job?  Have you thought about putting it up for someone else to take?

And actually, could Milos be eligible?
just not good enough

Well..he's suspended right now...so no.

The problem is...no Pro's out there want the job.  Otherwise...it can be voted on.  Then you got to get Pro's to vote.  Which....as it looks....it will never happen

Is IFBB a sport? I thought it's the only syndicate that allows people to run drugs in the open

I speak my mind quite frequently...thats why I get shit done...and things changed for the betterment of the athletes....what I find most amusing is that the only complaints I get aren't from the athletes...but only here from the internet crew...looking from the outside in...kind of makes you wonder doesn't it?

ATHLETES ARE TO SCARED TO SPEAK UP THAT WHY YOU DONT HEAR FROM THEM......HOPE THIS IS CLEAR NOW

Bob as IFBB president would make more sense than Bob as athletes rep.  At least then he wouldn't have massive conflicts of interest.

The only thing Melvin could accomplish that Bob hasn't is to arrange for free manicures and facials of all IFBB pros the night before the Olympia.

It is very unfortunately that people with no understanding of Bodybuilding and Its history speak blindly about someone. Bob is a Great assest to Athletes as he is rational and honest to other athletes. The role of Athletes Representative does not implie to favor an individual athlete even when he has no merit to it. Such actions would discredited the athletes rep position and more importantly other athletes. The position requires the use o Diplomacy not irrational complain that will ultimately result in nothing. The athletes are a part of a complex discussion that involve the interest of several different parties such as the fans, promoters, sponsors, IFFB ....The Athletes rep obviously needs to consider other parties interest to ultimately create a proposal that will fit all parties. It is completely STUPID to expected that negotiations will always go 100% to the athletes way.....welcome to the real World.
The Athletes are lucky to have Bob....as he has probably given countless hours with no pay to help them....easy to talk about it and complain but I don't known many that are willing to put the work with no pay.

Well you know the old saying "You get what you pay for"

So, Milos, Melvin Anthony, and Lee Priest don't count? They have complained on this board before- in Lee and Milos' cases- many times.

Bob Chick may be a "company man" at times, but he does get shit done.

He is the only IFBB pro that is actually well spoken and intelligent enough for the role,
and he is not competing.

I give Bob credit for coming on here and even posting, because I sure wouldn't.

There is only so much he can do, and from what I have read he seems to be doing as much as he can.  He cannot overthrow the IFBB and make them change all the rules.

I don't know what your talking about MELVIN for Athlete's rep.  Bob is a great rep and doing a great job, he busts his ass for the athletes period.  There is not one other person that will do a better job than him.  So quit hating.  ::)

Melvin would be a good choice; the "athletes" should be represented by one of their peers.
Mevin just might be fruity enough to get the job done.
