Favorite Seasonal Beer
« on: October 11, 2007, 07:53:16 AM »
Well, being that I'm 21 which makes me completely invincible and all-knowing, including beer knowledge thanks to my exorbitant amount of time drinking such classics as Keystone Light and Natty Light, I'm curious. I do drink well by college standards about once a month. Curious as to what your guys favorite seasonal beer is. A connoisseur such as myself is a fan of the Sam Adams seasonal brews, except for the Winter Lager. Anyone got some personal favorites that are worth trying?

I started drinking Guinness more a few weeks ago, don't drink it as much in the summer. I liked that Miller chill, but you guys told me it was for fags, so I stopped drinking it.  ;D

After drinking Guinness, you need a toothpick to clean the beer out of your teeth.

Yeah it's thick, but it tastes good.

Right, that shit rocks. I don't usually go for the exotic types, but that one is great.

On a break from my true love (Heineken) and have been drinking Siera Nevada whear and pale ales.

I'll be back to her soon. The cold weather here is fucking up my beer taste.

I drank a lot of Heineken this summer.

I did as well but a lot of it was brewed in St Lucia so the taste is a bit lighter.

I'm a big fan of it. For some reason, whenever I'm at a bar I find myself ordering it. No idea why. Just the first beer that pops into my head. Great marketing by them!

Yeah, it's not bad. Two of my buddies drink it all the time because they're queer about calories or carbs or whatever it is.  ::)

I stick mostly to the hard stuff but when I do drink beer I go to one of the local liquor stores and get some Steel Reserve.

Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout is amazing.

I treat myself to that about once a month.

Otherwise it's Guiness for me, particularly starting this time of the year.
