He stands to gain more than Fedor with this new M-1 org.
Fedor was set to take his biggest pay yet with the UFC, not including sponsers;
but that took a backseat to Finkelstein's plans to promote this new org.

I'm thinking he pulled a fast one on Dana and had this planned with Randy all along.
Now he can bring Randy to M-1 and put on the MMA fight of the century! It's genius.

Nope. He's out of the contract. The only stipulation is he has to wait 9 months before fighting again.
He needs that time to recover and train anyway.
Now Fedor is getting a 10 million dollar deal according to the Trigg.

Randy had a deal going with Finkelstein/M-1 BEFORE he left the UFC.
Why would he quit and lose all that money without securing something better first? He wouldn't.
The movie stuff is just something he's saying so Dana isn't set off yet...wait and see.

well, while i usually dont agree with you on almost nothing you say, this (while being a lot difficult to happen) really makes a lot of sense
i myselft think it would be  simply great, because it would be a bitchslap on Dana´s face and hopefully would start a big organization to compete with UFC

Dana was willing to make concessions to Fedor for the GUARANTEED money (this pissed off Couture).  He wanted exclusive rights to Fedor and wanted to dictate where and when he could fight.  Combat Sambo (where Fedor is a three time world champ) was not one of them.

True, Dana is like a little kid.  Wont let his fighters fight anywhere else but with him.  My prediction is that he will be losing some top tier fighters real soon.

  If he invested 2 mil in Fedor (whom the American public don't know well) and he got injured in combat sambo that wouldn't be very good business.

Also, other fighters would want the same loose contract.

i agree. even if the ufc invested the money in fedor they could put a stipulation in the contract if he gets injured in sambo the contract is void.

I honestly dont think that money is all Dana cares about.  I think alot of it is childish in the fact that he wants to wave it in everyones face that he has the best fighter in the world you know.

i already came up with a solution for this. like i said before he could be put in the contract that if fedor gets injured in sambo it voids the ufc contract
bottom line is dana white IS greedy and he has a monopoly and does what he wants to do
