I'm fixing to pay the truck off and am looking at bikes and came across this one. I love the look of harley's and well..it's a harley. Tell me what you guys have heard or know about them if you have them? I'm looking at a sportster, this one in particular...

I've also held interest in honda shit since everything honda i've ever owned be it a dirty bike or the older big red 3 wheelers have been solid and ZERO performers.

Stick with the bigger bikes, do not get a sportster, you will be dissappointed.
You should look into customs, they are selling dirt cheap right now, market is flooded with them.

You're right about the customs being cheaper but it's also because they are hard to finance and the insurance on a custom is almost double from a stock bike............... and like Chaos said don't bother getting a sporty you will regret it.

Agreed you will want something bigger. I bought my dads 1500 suxuki intruder for my first cruiser and now I hate to ride anything smaller. Im also only 6'2" and 190 lbs. You will end up growing into a bigger bike. Problem is with the smaller bike once you get used to cruising it you will hate it. My usggestion don't go with anything smaller then an 1100 and I still think that is a little small. The old man don't do harley cause he cant afford a custom right now and so he rides the blvd. 1800 That shit screams and still is a cruiser. He's had it up to 135 mph and he's 335 and 6'6 or 6'7".
