didn't ted arcidi wrestle at some point - I think he had just pressed 700, that would probably make him the strongest

Big Show would have to be one of the strongest just due to his size. They say he is like 500lbs, don't know if thats a bit of an exaggeration, you never know with wrestlers and their weight, kinda like bodybuilders and their height.
No doubt about it...

Tony Atlas was the strongest wrestler period!!! Back in 1985 in george Eifermans gym I witnessed him bench 600 raw for almost a double. This is back when Tony Atlas and the Road Warrors, aswell as Hulk Hogan all belonged to the AWA, smaller wrsting association.Atlas, Hogan and the the Road warrors were all in the gym at the same time. Atlas literaly dwarfed Hogan and the Road Warrors in size and strength. This is back when Hulk hogan started claiming he had 24" pythons, lol.I asked Atlas if he though Hogans arms were 24" and he laughed at me. He said why dont you ask him. So I went up to Hulk Hogan and asked if I could measure his arm, lol, and he said, not right now I am busy, lol .Atlas, said I told you he would let you measure his arm, lol. At the time Tony Atlas had 23 1/2 and I beleive it, he made Hulk ogan look like a stick, lol .The Road warrors were pretty strong aswell, Animal could rep with 500 lbs on the bench , and Hawk was almost as strong. The Road Warriors & Tony Atlas trained realy heavy, very intensly. They would tear up the gym, max out all the machines, and bend bars,  Hulk Hogan on the other hand wasnt very strong at all & trained very carefree. I suprised if he even break a sweat.

I also seen Tony Atlas pick up that fat ass 500 lb wrestler Jerry Blackwell,  pick him up over his head a full press, and hold him there for a few seconds, then throw him across the ring. That was an impressive feat. I used to watch the old AWA wresting in Vegas, because they gave george Eiferman gym members free tickets all the time. I was just 18 and started lifting so it was kind of kool, I got to train with the Road Warriors, Tony ATLAS, Ken Patera, Jessie Ventura, just to name a few

When and were did Don Muracco give a show a strength?  I realize he wasn't always this doughy... but a strong man?  Where?  When?

Well how about in the gym and this was a bit after he was huge in the WWF.  He did 120 lb DB press pretty easy for reps.  He did 315 front presses easy as hell and he would shrug 5 plates each side like nothing.  The only time I seen hin bench he had 315 but it went up easy as hell for several reps.  Other than that no strength I guess ::)

If you're talkin bench press, that's nothing special.  But if you're talkin SHOULDER press I'm impressed.

yes it was 315 seated front press (shoulder).  When I saw him bench he did only have 315 but was repping it easy.  He might have gone up but didn't pay attention.  His shoulder thickness and width was awesome.  But I was stronger :)

So you're saying that when you were 14, you were rep'ing 315?

Or were you a lot older? How many times did you fail Kindergarten?
