i dont understand, a phd takes about 9 years or so with the usual being a bsc and a masters then phd. so if you dont even have an undergrad how can you work on your phd?

i also will have a degree in particle physics and, umm, how about plasma physics and biomechanics.

PhD in detecting poundage claim lies with a minor in detecting bodypart measurement and bodyweight claim lies.

Wouldn't it be "What are everyone's academic qualifications?" since "qualifications" is plural?  What are your qualifications?  What are his qualifications?  "Everyone's" seems awkward somehow too.  I would have opted for "your academic qualifications" unless you really want to get picky about the fact that a "qualification" implies suitability for a particular task or role, in which case "degrees" would have been a safe choice.  "Achievements" or "accolades" would add additional alliteration.
ummm...i feel soory for you after reading that

what are you doing with your biology degree hulkster, what do you work as?

I actually ended up using the bio degree sort of in combo with the environmental certificate and landed a job in the environmental field.

I work for regional government as a wastewater treatment plant operator.

there is lots of biology applicable in my feild (just did a microbio traning course the other day where we did gram staining again etc).

I found that in my area of canada, to get a GOOD job in pure biology, you need a masters.

I didn't have one and was not too keen on the idea of going back for a few more years.

the college cert. was nice because it was a quick one year program.

and I don't regret it one bit. the pay in my job is very good, and I am still near the bottom of the payscale. (started in 2006).

Had I landed a job in bio with just my bachelor's I would likely be making half what I am now, and probably just being a drone in a lab anyway.. :-\
