You think there are Meth addicted Bodybuilders?
« on: December 10, 2007, 05:24:10 AM »
I have just seen this really good Documentary about a Meath addicted family man, a real fun and
likeable guy.
I don't know much about Meath, it's not a big drug here in Ireland yet but he says he feels super strong and invincible.

Now I wonder are there any Meth addicted Bodybuilders?

Oh the Good docu is here is some of you want to watch it... real good stuff, no idea how you can logg trees and still take meth.

First and last time i used Cocaine, before a workout and i was jacked most productive workout i ever had.

Meth is dangerous i think the most addictive drug there is, we have big problems with some parts of society.

You think there are Meth addicted Bodybuilders?

I'm sure there are some.  I would say cocaine and ecstasy would be the most popular.

Meth would be useless for bodybuilding. You might feel strong and invincible but you also need a lot of discipline - meth would take that away from you and your diet would suffer as a result.

If meth was any good for bodybuilding then why are none of the Olympia athletes taking it?

How do you know they aren't? "Uppers" in general have been popular in bodybuilding for decades.

Stacked with 'bain and something to bring you down for sleep - benzo's, ghb etc.

For most people yes you are right...But meth has been around for a long time and many pro bodybuilders have used it...esp pre contest...

Meth won't give you alot of the negitive effects if you keep feeding your body...Its all about control...And bodybuilders and anorexic's are the king's of control...

You may not feel like eating while using it but it doesn't mean you can't eat...

I doubt it. Im sure there have been some bb'ers who have used it, maybe even some pros, but i wouldn't say that "many" pros use it.
No doubt about it...

meth is used by some guys.  coke is used too.  definitely not the majority tho.  You have 250 pounds guys at 4% bodyfat, on everything under the sun, zero carbed and water.  Yeah, some are going to use to get by.  And when you consider that so many college kids flippantly put anything up their nose their roomie or date hands them, a BBer (with a very good grasp of how the body works and how healthy they are) isn't the worst candidate to use it.

what happened to the similar thread on this subject? it was a pretty good thread with some great honest info coming in.

the protocol adopted by the government ("just say no to drugs" and "never talk about it or kids will try it") does not work, has never worked and never will work.

as prohibition has proven over and over again to only increase drug usage (during the 1920s when the drug, alcohol was prohibited, the period has statistically shown to have been the highest total consumption of alcohol in american history).

pretending that top flight pro bbers are the pillar of society and are the epitome of health is an atypical american stance to take and joe weider did this through his media for a long time (it did make him a lot of money though).

the actual facts are that carbo fire = coke and crash weight gainer = dianabol. this is the truth and if there is one thing proven right through history is that truth is much more successful in preventing drug abuse than the 'atypical american stance'.

the truth is that professional athletes (not just bbers who constantly get made the scape goat by corrupt politicians bought and paid for by the ioc, who also uses bbers as a scape goat + the same 'atypical american stance') are not 'heroes' and 'fine upstanding pillars of society' (steve reeves was really a swell guy wasn't he? :D) as people like uncle joe would like you to believe ('business economics 101), they are completely self-obsessed competitive individuals that have embraced any means whatsoever to get closer to god, including pharmacology.

with the information superhighway going ahead full steam, 'kids' are more aware than ever before and are adopting the 'fuck you, i won't do what you told me' attitude like never before.

fear mongering is not the way of the future. in fact it runs completely antagonistic to a future, but as an imbecilic child may put his/her hand in the fire over and over again, the equally imbecillic government that 'just doesn't say no' to money will continue to adopt this policy.

site controllers, please don't adopt it here, and try to remember the purpose of an 'open forum'...
