1: Before starting, make sure you cover these aspects
- Describe the gimmicks character very precisely. Make the character very very special, humor = in the character, not in the words. Who is this character? What is special about it? What is the history? Is it human? Is it gay?
- Plan how the gimmick should respond to certain situations, the gimmicks "trademarks" so to speak
- Plan which regular posters you should go after, and the weak points you will utilize for each target. Make a strategy for each target.
- Make preventive efforts to make sure nobody can identify your main account via the gimmick.
2: Make at least 200 posts in character, WITHOUT doing anything gimmicky, just be "in character" the way you planned the gimmick.
3: After 200 posts or so, do certain "extreme character" moves with the gimmick, to establish the image of the gimmick firmly in the minds of the people that will love it or hate it in the future. The "extreme character" moves MUST be extreme in order to create emotion filled associations to your gimmick among the posters.
4: After about 1000 posts of very in gimmick character posts and some "extreme character" hook points, start going after your chosen victims with fury.
-> use the strategies and observe their weak spots. NEVER stop the gameplan, always obey your logical rules, and NEVER let your emotions come into play.
5: After about 2000 - 3000 posts, you have a successful gimmick.
