Anyone do "light deadlifts" at the end of oyur back workouts?
« on: January 16, 2008, 04:01:58 PM »
Ive been doing this for a while now and i love how it finishes off my back workout..I would start with 225, get some reps then move to 275 for 2 more sets and thats it...10-15 reps, just as a finisher..just to polish up the lower back, hammies etc..

I have done 15-20+ rep SLDL but as a main back exercise, not as a finisher. If the hand grip is changed to extra wide (collar to collar), from time to time, a better stretch and feel to the movement is achieved. Have also done shrugs at the top position of some higher rep SLDL's, with that extra wide grip. Pretty affective on the Ham's also when done with a fairly straight back. Improves the over all regular DL when I go back to it. Good Luck.

I've done DL's at the end of my back w/o , but I still kept them heavy and 4-8 rep range
