Probably because a lot of athletic women lose a lot of breast tissue when training in different sports.  They want breasts, so why not?  And 9 times outta 10...the boobs are being judged, but as the whole package.

Too bad most of them look like they have huge round grapefruits under their skin. There comes a time when small breasted looks better than obscenely synthetic. I know the excuse will be the low bodyfat levels, but they still look horrible. Only a handfull of these women seem to have decent boob jobs.

When dieted down they definitely look like grapefruits under the skin, but when off season, they look more natural.  I'll tell ya, it would be far worse to see someone with real c's or d's dieted down for a show.  There would be nothing in that top but two pancakes.

Because with all the constant dieting, and restricted calories required to train, it inevitably reduces the fat tissues in the mammarys. That's basically what breasts are composed off . . .  tons of fat tissue. Many women do it to feel proportionate again after the loss of so much fat.

Hmmm, maybe because the stage & being in competition shape accounts for a very small percentage of our total lifetime.... and yes they do help win if they are proportionate to the whole body.  I don't think a competitor could win if all the judges see were boobs
