you also talked about emotions, this would reason to imply that women arent suited for certain jobs not just physical jobs it if is as you state women are weaker then men mentally as well. Continuing with this logic it would also imply that women should not have the oppurtuniy to rise above certain positions in jobs b/c they are mentally weaker. A mentally weak person shouldnt be the CEO of a company if there is a person who is mentally stronger with the same qualifications should they? so are glass ceilings ok by you then?

You are picking bits and pieces of what you want to see in my posts instead of reading all of what I am saying, so I'll just be done with it.  The last thing I need is an ongoing post war today.  ::)

Surveys of older women in particular generate the consensus opinion that Hillary’s losses to Obama represent yet another case of a more qualified woman being passed over for a man.  Do you agree with this at all?  Do you see evidence of sexism in this campaign?

Do you see or experience sexism in your day to day life?   Have you ever seen women practice sexism on one another?

Perhaps one of the worst aspects of sexism is that you can experience it without even knowing it’s happening.  Please describe the last episode of sexism that you have personally experienced.

Vegas is the universal capital of sexism... and ageism  !! !! !! !!

There are gender roles but unfortunately gender roles have been perverted!

We all have our specific part in society based on gender! Women are equipped differently than men and vice versa. Gender specificity is a good thing but selfishness, unkindness, greed and pride have destroyed the original intent of male and female roles in society.

The way I see it some roles in life are general such as the presidency but being a mother or father is gender specific.

I was in the US Navy and I saw it all (positive and negative gender bias)

When you have a US Navy supply ship manned by 95% female and 3 months into a war 75% of that crew ends up pregnant what dp you think happened next? We can’t have that!!

And why are women's PFT requirements different than men's but they can hold the same job? It's all BS

I was in the Navy too (and during the Persian Gulf War). From my understanding of the differences in PFT standards is simply set to make sure all personnel were in decent physical readiness. Not all jobs in the armed forces require extensive strength. And the jobs that did requires strength, women were not able to perfomr therefore did not fill those billets.  Heck, alot of men didn't qualify for those jobs.

Also, take note that some of the performance standards for an 35 year old female are higher than a 50 year old male. Why aren't guys complaining about this ?

If women were required to meet the exact same PFT standards as men... there would be a female shortage and the gender quotas would not be met. With an already shortage of qualifying males to join the armed forces, a shortage of women as well would be catastrophical for the armed forces.
