At 1:25 it looks like the worst takedown i've seen in a long time.
These kind of fights are not good for mma.

Got to give the dude credit. He had to be going into that fight knowing he was in for a hurting.

I just noticed he was only 213 in the clip. Probably less than he was in UFC.
Funny how guys are saying now that he was all drugs back then.

Not saying how he wasn't on, just saying that imo the fact he was more focussed and comfortable in Pride (like he's saying in this clip) is a BIG factor.

In Japan, the Nippon versus the gaijin is a common demoninator.  Very overmatched.  Prior to the fight, Minowa was practicing avoiding kicks in a batting cage.
