in all honesty i thought she was dead,i reached into the car to check for a pulse she then coughed looked at me and quietly asked "am i still alive".EMS then swamped the scene.it was the worst wreck i had ever scene,6 were life flighted,2 died.i had to send the new officer i am training down the road to direct traffic,he just couldnt handle it.

could have been worse,i am one of the lucky few who does not get tripped out over shit like that.my uncle has been a fire chief at the local fire dept since i was born,and my aunt has been head of EMS for just as long and i spent allot of my child hood with them so i have seen some horrible shit.needless to say i was desensitized at a young age.
