Ultimate Nutrition Iso-Sensation 93. 93% isolate protein with the whole bunch of amino acids. Tastes like shit but works for me. I'll eat a couple of fruits with it to be sure the 'slin gets a boost.

nope not exactly. no matter how much meat you eat, youll never get the same concentration of amino acids in your blood stream as youll get from drinking one whey protein shake.   the digestion rates are completely different.

maybe for some of you guys, 5-15 grams per hour is sufficient (about the rate at which meat digests)...but some of us have the capabiliy to utilize 40 grams of protein within one hour...    ;D

I've used protein powders for years and they're an excellenct supplement when whole food can't be eaten.   Every morning at work it's skim milk and protein powder.   They're only a waste of money if you have the time to eat regular food each day.....I do not.   And don't give me that "if you cared enough you'd make the time" horseshit.  It's a convenient, inexpensive, low-carb, low-cal, decent tasting alternative to regular protein sources.

Exact same thing. I don't advocate huge amounts of protein. I get about 1,5 to max 2 grams per kilo per day. That's about 150 grams of protein/day. Even with three good meals, i don't get that much so I just throw in a couple of shakes (30 grams per serving). Food is still better.

Granted buying Protein Powder might not be the most pleasant way of parting with your money but it should hardly become a critical
spending decision.

AlltheWhey CinnaBun Isolate

Perhaps the best tasting protein I've ever tried. Sweet but subtle.  I've gone through 10lbs have 4-6 scoops daily and I'm still not sick of it.  That is really saying something.  With the discount codes, 5lbs for $35.

Protein powders are a "supplement" to a regular diet.   If you can take in enough regular food you do not need a supplement.

Agreed.

I don't use a lot of protein powder anymore (maybe two or three times a week). That being said I've got a coupel pounds of trueprotein's Gemma Protein powder in my kitchen.
