I thought it was bullshit to send JT off the show.

Theyre ok with him and others trashing he whole house (in fact that's a planned event in every season) but knocking out a limo window (that nobody would've seen or know about if they havent aired it) is a big deal?

You think that makes such a difference that it warrants kicking him off the show?

If so, why?

I don't.

Yes.  He caused property damage in public site and was tormenting guests all the while proclaiming he was a UFC fighter.  Excellent representative of the sport.  It's like when a football player goes out and does dumb shit.  He usually get fined and/or suspended.  However in football and other pro sports they are paid millions of dollars so the owners are so quick to quit them.  If they were just signed, they'd probably be cut.

how good do you represent the sport when you every season get drunk over and over again and smash the house? this is a sanctioned thing by the ufc. they dont give a shit about how they represent the sport, they care about ratings.

the "public" you speak of was 3 in a morning where hardly a person in sight. the "tormenting" of guests could've been anything.

ufc has a history of fighters using drugs, caught with steroids, getting into fights outside of the octagon, going to court etc and yet they havent dropped these fighters.

so no, he shouldnt have been kicked off the show.

Getting drunk in their home, which it was for the duration of the show is no ones business.  A lot more goes on in the homes of regular people.  Have you never thrown a wild party.  The television catches these moments.  Everynight isn't like that or these guys couldn't fight.

Whether it's 3 in the morning of afternoon, threatening guards and tormenting ppl is not acceptable.

Many an athlete has been caught with drug, big f'n deal.

Are you the president of the orginization? No so you have no say so.  Get over it.  You know he should be kicked off, you just like to argue for the sake of arguing.

Getting drunk over and over again and trashing the house every season, getting into fights with eachother, racial attacks etc isnt a good way to represent the sport. yet nothing happends and they support that behaviour in the hunt for higher ratings. They dont catch these movements - they plan them.
Whether they can fight or not is besides the point.

Yes being caught with drugs, steroids, going to court, fighting etc IS a big deal if you claim they should behave themselves and be good role models and ambassadeurs for the sport. Fighters dont get kicked off because of this, and he shouldnt have been kicked off the show. Bottom line.

And neither you and i have a say, regarding this, match ups or anything else going on in the UFC with your logic we shouldnt talk about it and get over it?

I disagree. I think we SHOULD talk about it, and the MMA board is a perfect place for it.

You guys are forggetting the fact that he was pretty much sexually harrassing female guests at that casino (casino owned by the Ferttitias'), whilst acting like a homeless drunk, and when they told security, he resisted and was screaming out, " but I'm a UFC figther".  That in itself is wrong in so many ways, I know the TUF show tries to keep the outcome of the show pretty hush hush, and that almost qualifies as a spoiler.  I know the TUF contestant contract has a spoiler clause in it, in which a fighter who violates it's terms could face legal action.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand Dana's decision: who the f*ck wants to hire someone who pees in his pants, talks like a retard, has an alcohol problem, has one of the most boring fighting styles, harasses people in public, brags being something he's not.. imagine a guy like that representing your company? Hello?? Any brain cells left?

Yeah they're better off with fighters like Chris Leben representing them - who got drunk and urinated in another fighters bed, had emotional breakdowns, punched out a window, got arrested for DUI, violated his probation and sent to jail for 35 days causing his fight scheduled for UFC 85 to be cancelled  :D

They're just saving themselves the money of having to pay him to get KTFO.  He's Tommy Speer part II.

First off, Blinky, I didnt know u posted on any boards other than the sex board haha ( which IMHO is the 2nd best board on GB)

And I think the only reason he got kicked off is because he uttered the words "I am a UFC fighter"...............if he wouldnt have done that, he would have been ok. But once he said those words. GAME OVER!

While I agree that the kid should've been kicked off the show, Bluto does make a valid point. If the guys in the show were told that if there's damage to the house they get kicked out, I'm quite certain there would be no damage to the house, and the argument that it's in private doesn't hold up because the UFC chooses to show the house trashing on TV every year.

There's no getting around the hypocrisy on the UFC's part.

Well I can totally understand the points you are saying but I really do think it comes down to the following. The house is a privately owned place and the destruction of it can even be said makes for good TV. The arguement of a private house does hold up due to the fact that you don't have innocent bystanders that can be hurt in the process. The fighters all probably sign releases and are of a different mind set then your average run of the mill person. So while at the house there is probably a certain amount of lenience.

Also lets take into consideration a few more things: kicked the window out of a limo (ok in itself not a big deal), harrassing guests/workers (very big no no from a legal perspective and leaves the UFC, Dana, The Fertita's all possibly on the hook for a lawsuit), when asked to settle down by security throws a tantrum by saying "do you know who I am, I am  a UFC fighter", which technically he wasn't at that moment. You start to put these things together and I think you have very valid reasons to throw this guy off. I think the point is more that if this guy is doing this stuff already he is going to be unbareable when/if he won. This is just my opinion but if this idiot can't keep himself in line for a few months leading up to what is suppose to be one of the biggest moments in his career then hey I am with Dana and the UFC toss his a$$ to the curb.

They left the door open though Dana told him to call in a few months

everyone is talking about how the last few seasons these guys are thrashing the house and getting loaded and its obviously thats its part of the show now

whats funny is that if you remember back to the first season, Chris Leben almost got kicked off the show for busting a couple doors, and they were told no more booze in the house after that night....my how things change   ::)

everybody was saying that CB was easily the best fighter on there and would win. Amir beat him twice.
with jt spending so much time on the ground im betting Amir would have submitted him like he did all over the show.

we'll never know..for now... and it doesnt really matter anymore. jt was a clown and showed it many times during the show. bye bye
