yes, there are posters we like having around. but if you think the departure of anyone can ruin a board, obviously you're new. this board has seen posters of a far greater magnitude go away or drastically alter their style (woten and 240 to name a pair) and guess what? getbig's growing monthly. june's had more traffic and more posts than may did and july's well on the way.

if you don't like GB, make it better. don't just sit around pissing and moaning.

Seriously, what the fuck is up with these pussies??  Magoo, remember back in the early 2002-2003 era when both GetBig and Mayhem had the best posters of any bodybuilding message boards?  Back then we had classic posters that made shit really interesting without having to just resort to mocking other members with stupid catch-phrases. 

I remember how back in those days the pros would post their real opinions and have it all out with the members.  Shit would be flung from side to side and the owners (Yaroni & Chad) would just sit back and let shit happen. 

Remember the good guys like BigJimbo & Thomas Nelson Prince to name a few?  Everyone brought quality to the boards back then.  Now, a month goes by without one guy that recycles the same material and most of these fools are crying.  The same guy that would hide behind his veil of anonymity that consisted of a picture of his reflection on a tainted glass spends years making fun of other members and then, when members team up behind the scene to OWN his ass, he fucking folds and runs away like a fucking pussy.  Come on man, get with it, EVERYONE gets OWNED around here at some point.  Shit, as NYCMAN, I got owned at the end after a good 3 year run with some of the best trolls.  Yet, what do you do when that shit happens?  Regroup, restructure and come back with a different approach.     

Get over it, these boards will keep growing and will not be dependent upon anyone.  That's the nature of this shit.  You're here today and you're the all-around big shot and if you leave tomorrow for a few months, by the time you come back, someone else has taken your place and, in the process, is trying his best to outdo whatever you did.

I remember back in the day when we posted on boards we would have to walk 10 miles in the snow without shoes  or socks.  We were so broke we couldn't afford mittens so we'd have to tuck our hands into our fanny packs just to make it to the schools library which contained the one and only computer that had dial-up.  I'd sit there for 20 minutes to post one reply but back then it didn't matter because every message I read was worth while because it took so long to post in the first place.

One thing I don't know how ppl say P Rod is anonymous when he posted his clear pic including face. Or if anonymous means no info, but pic is cool I have it wrong. As far as back in the day, I must be the only person who never found Big Jimbo from MM funny. Seriously, I totally missed his whole schtick. Onemorerep as Mowerville killed me to no end, as did Power Rod in his glory days. Many others too...

Not to be all ghey, I do think once we turned so nasty the humour went down some. There was always nasty stuff yes, but the main premise was humour and wit. Once the main vibes turned to exposing people, stalking folks, massive racial attacks, accusing every second person of lying etc - seemed the humour reduced. The focus changed.

To sound an old ass, this board used to be falling off your chair humourous years back. Thread after thread of classic work.
