I don't know if the Houston show is actually going to make a profit or not, but why not donate profits back into the prize money instead of charity. Since this is a new show, having a proceeds "jackpot" would have made things more interesting. Instead, the winner is going home with a measly $10k and everyone else loses money. Also, it's time to qualify only the winner for the Olympia to get more big names competing in these events.
