Milk Found In Non-Dairy Creamers

It's bad news for those with milk allergies, those trying to live a vegan lifestyle and anyone who implicitly trusts that anything they buy in the supermarket is labeled correctly.

On the heels of a tainted milk scandal that rocked China comes news that non-dairy Coffee Mixes imported from Korea contain milk - and it's not listed as an ingredient.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning people who are lactose-intolerant not to consume products listed below.

While no one has yet gotten sick from the creamers and other products, they could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk proteins.

They were sold in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

All the products are currently being voluntarily recalled by the importer. The CFIA is monitoring that recall.
