I had MRSA and some other nasty little bugs, including acinetobacter (sp). I took literally grams of antibiotics per day for a long time, both oral and IV. I can remember taking 1g of cipro per day for 30 days. How long has he ben jacked up?

I agree, this is the typical behaviour among people who is in deep problems. They love to smash people when they are healthy, but when death is awaiting from them, they think its time to change and become a good person. Mark my words, as soon as his "wound" heal, he will be back into his usual business, promising jail for getbiggers and god knows what else.

You are a good man my friend, but Moose hasn't held back with his insults since he's been back. So that makes him fair game. No different than Onlyme trying to get sympathy or a waiver from flaming by bringing up his spider bite or 'illustrious past' when he doesn't hold himself back with flaming people on here. That being said, I do wish and hope he makes a full recovery from this and gets back on his feet - no one should suffer from something horrible like this.

I was the recipient of one of the biggest ownings of all time by Johnny Jihad. He blew me up in afghanistan with an IED (roadside bomb).

What is all that grey material in the arm?

In the second pic? It is basically, by my Doc's description, a "surgical grade trashbag." It is actually part of a system called a wound vac. They seal the plastic down with tape to make the wound airtight, then hook up a machine that applies suction to the wound. This suction pulls out large amounts of the fluid that causes swelling in the injury. Im not sure of the machines MOA, but it literally accelerates healing time by weeks. it is a wonderful machine.
