fedor himself even said in a recent interview what he thought of dana talking crap about him,fedor just laughed and said,dana talks crap about me now cause im not under contract with the ufc,but if i signed with the ufc tommorow he would be bragging how im the best fighter that ever lived,lol.alot wisdom in those words,fedor knows the ufc will try to tie him up so hard under contract that they prolly wouldnt even want him to do his sambo tournaments anymore out of fear if he loses or gets hurt it will hurt his image and more importantly to dana,the ufc,s image.i respect dana for what hes done and how hard hes fought to make mma/ufc a huge sport but,the mans a power hungry guy imo who wants to be worshipped as the king of modern mma promotions,and at this point he is.will the ufc always stay on top as far as being the top dog show raking in the money?who knows?but i think its a win and win situation for us fans,cause with all these new mma orginizations starting great events it will force the ufc to put on better and better cards to stay ahead,also,i believe its great for the fighters themselves who get paid peanuts by the ufc that other fighting events are getting bigger and starting up,it opens up more doors and better paydays.some of these fighters are getting paid nothing for thier efforts,the ufc payscale is all screwed up imo,theyll give some guys around a half to 3 quarters of a million $ and other guys get 1500$.how are these younger guys supposed to get any better if they aint making enough money to train full time,eating habits for athletes is super expensive also,and alot of the guys have families to feed also.while dana claims hes all for the fighters,he sure aint showin it by the way he pays some of the guys.lorenza fertitta and his brother are billionares if not close,they can afford to pay those young bucks more then that shit.i like dana for his efforts but i think his payscale sucks for the newer talent in our sport
