Webcke, yes Milos tore his quad sprinting, along with his ACL!!!!

Ouch!

I hadn't sprinted in a long time and made the mistake of doing so without a good warm up and it felt like i was going to tear my quad. Sprinting is pretty rough...
No doubt about it...

How people in their 40's and 50's fork over cash for you to train their kids is beyond me.

You are so beyond ignorant on 40 times that it is not even funny.

All bullshitting aside Coach, just stop.

No, I'm VERY aware of 40 times, I proved it once and that's what pretty much ended the last conversation. I'm also going to clarify I don't mean in all positions.

Agree.  Spud Webb and that little guy on the Knicks, can't think of his name right now, are the only sub 5'7" guys I've ever seen who could dunk.  Maybe Dexter meant on an 8' goal?

Coach you actually believe a 4.19 time by a 5'6 man?   What exactly are you a coach of? ;D

BOTH of the claims are BS plain and simple.  I also don't believe most of other times listed earlier in the thread.  Darrell Green in no way ran a 4.09.  Times get exaggerated by coaches, teams, and the players all the time.  The laser timing at the combine is accurate, but they didn't start laser timing until after Deion.

BTW - NOT A CHANCE IN HELL IS THE AVERAGE HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR DOING A 4.6.

It's funny how many high school football players tell me they were clocked at 4.4.  Coaches accually make these kids believe they ran a 4.4 ::)

BTW, there's a big difference between 4.4 and 4.6.

But you claim that the average for a high school jr or sr is 4.6.

And that includes all positions.

An AVERAGE of all positions, ALL PLAYERS of all positions.

Which means that you actually claim that the average 40 yard time for the high school running backs and receivers are faster, because the linemen are definitely slowe than the average.

That's just ridiculous.

In this case, you're full of shit.

I'm not saying you could be right on other matters.

But here - no.

You just don't know what you're talking about.

I always thought shorter guys make better sprinters than taller guys, this is not the case?

I ran a 4.40 in high school playing soccer, I don't see what the big deal is.

He also played high school football as a WR but was better at lacrosse.I'm not saying his time was exactly 4.4 as it was just a coach yelling go and another coach at the end of the forty with a stopwatch ;D

Levrone got KILLED by Chambers and you're right Chambers probably only ran at about 80 percent, it was ridiculous by how far Chambers beat him, Levrone was at least 10 yards behind him.
Are you jealous that a bber can run faster than you... weighing 25kg more than you?

Dude when the HS football coach realized I could run a 4.4 as a soccer player he offered me a spot on the team.  By the time senior year was up I had offers at the Pac 10 schools.  But I decided to pursue a welding degree at the local community college.

Yes if it came down to banging beautiful women on the west coast, or being stuck in a hot, sweaty, metal building,  burning my neck constantly with hot sparks, for menial wages.........I would DEFINITELY choose the Welding gig!!

When you banged as many chicks as I did in high school....you look to college for a more meaningful experience.

Was your 4.4 clocked with manual or automic timer?

Manual timer - add 0.2-0.3.
