Central to the collapse was the implementation of neo-liberal policies which enabled the swindle of billions of dollars by foreign banks and corporations. Many of Argentina's assets and resources were shamefully plundered. Its financial system was even used for money laundering by Citibank, Credit Suisse, and JP Morgan. The net result was massive wealth transfers and the impoverishment of society which culminated in many deaths due to oppression and malnutrition. Official name: Memoria del Saqueo by Fernando Solanas 2003.

This happened in 2001. So far as the so called Falkland War which Britain had to call on america to help it to "win" over a land mass of small islands off of Argentina. I guess the Faulklanese (if that is their names) can now sit back and laugh their asses off as they watch Britain goes bankrupt, collapses and burns. I've heard many times about what happened to Argentina, an incredibly rich country in natural resources that "somehow" can't get its act together. Anyways, some of the things that took place in Argentina in the late 90s (socilizing private debt) are now a reality in the US. The next step will be the freezing of public funds... well, that is actually happening already, through the devaluation of the dolar, excesively higher taxes and the near collapse of our financial system and the inmense lost value in 95% of the portfolios.

Yes Britain was trying to keep control of its OWNERSHIP of an Island off the coast of Argentina. Argentina (a predominently white run country BTW) don't have any ownership simply due to proximity. Like I said, the Falklanese are proud of their British heritage... they DID NOT WANT Argentina to be involved with them in any shape or form... they are HAPPY Britain did what was necessary.

The inhabitants of the islands are full British citizens (since a 1983 Act) and under Argentine Law are eligible for Argentine citizenship. Many trace their origins on the islands to early 19th-century Scottish immigration. The islands' residents reject the Argentine sovereignty claim.

The irony is you dismiss anything to do with UK/US because of colonialism - yet seem to ignore the fact that Argentina was "stole" from its original inhabitants by Spanish colonialists. Note most wealthy Argentines are WHITE and speak SPANISH.
