deadliest warrior-viking vs samurai

just wondering what you guys thought about tonights episode? i thought the viking got the raw end of the deal, i thought the samurai was very good also but. it seems like the guys who host this show favor the smaller but quicker warriors compared to the more powerful, heavily armored warriors.

next weeks will be japans ninja vs greeks spartan warrior, im going with the spartan cause they are just badd ass and from the research i did on both the ninja and the spartan, the spartan got my vote. i think if it was dark out and the area had many spots to ambush an opponant, the edge would go to the ninja, i think if it was daylight and they had open area, the spartan would prevail.

 like george whorewell said afew days ago, alot depends on where they fought. the spartan army used to snatch up 6 and 7 year old  kids from thier cities and villages and whether the parents liked it or not it didnt matter. the spartan army trained the youngsters to be killing machines at young ages, im going with the spartans and screw what that computer says,lol.

i agree that the viking was given the shaft.  Next week i do give the edge to the ninja, but then again it depends on what weapons they choose.

you never seen many ninjas or samurai conquering continents as the vikings did... genhis kahn and his mongal hordes knocked them to fuck too...

That's so true, they should have taken those facts into consideration and given the vikings extra points on that alone!!! how many samurai do you know that conquered other continents ?!!

samurai were generally at war with other samurai, these werent roving bands of nomads they had a home and a lord and they had to serve that lord. The fought samurai from other daimyo for territory and had all they needed at home why go elsewhere?

I know all that, I guess their Shogun's were contempt with the territories they occupied and had no want for greater land occupation or chance to have colonies in other lands and worlds...suffice to say they were pussy to get off their lazy asses and see what else was out there

LOL like i said in the other thread i think for them it comes down to range, the samurai had a bow that gave them a great range advantage and where fairly accurate same with the indian. I do think that they should add in an enviroment factor like i think gracie said if it was dark my money would be on the ninja otherwise the spartan hands down.

But the samurai didn't have that pin point accuracy until he was 20 feet from the attacker, a distance that while running can be closed very quickly, also consider the viking attacker's all had relatively large shield's, a 240 lb viking warrior running full speed at a 5'4 115 lb samurai would end pretty badly for the samurai.
