That's because AJPW does not air hear and we can't watch it in order to judge it.

I think a very underrated promotion was Georgia Championship Wrestling around 84-85.  Warriors, Spoiler, Sawyer, Rich, Piper, etc.... plus the top guys from Mid-Atlantic/NWA and Florida always coming in for promotions....Flair, Rhodes, Hansen, Brody, Abdullah, etc....  And I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton of guys.

Plus Gordan doing the commentary.

I think the "Minnesota Wrecking Crew" (pre-Horseman Andersons) was on the scene at that time as well.

Ole was for sure...I can't remember if Gene was, although he was managing quite a bit at the time.

Gene was more or less managing at the time.  "Lars" was still wrestling, and their "cousin" Arn had just come on the scene.  I can't believe I actually thought Arn was from Minnesota.  hahahahahaha

Andre/Haku
Rude
Mr. Perfect
Hart Foundation
Tully and Arn
Shawn and Janetty

I mean, it was cool when they actually had a tag team division..

       The Von Erichs along with Ice Man King Parsons were some of my favorites ever as a kid.
