The outside the ring action resembles a shoot and the clean job at the end.... Awesome!

awesome. I think if Hansen wrestled more in the US he would have been up there with the biggest stars ever.

A lot of North American guys didn't like working with Hansen because he was pretty stiff.
But that style always went over well in Japan where he did very well for himself.

I wonder if he potatoed anyone on the set of No Holds Barred.
I also always wondered why they cast him in that film.

You are a little young to remember, but he was pretty big in the mid 70's thru mid 80's over here....but his paydays were bigger in Japan.  The matches on that youtube playlist are incredible.  A bunch of stuff from Japan...
