Scout's new seester

 :D

A mini version of him.  She's 11 months.  They get along great.  Her humane society name is Lucy which will change shortly.

Thank you!  I'm not sure about names yet.  I just got her today.  Maybe Shelby  ??? or Kaluha.  So much for the carpet  ::) she's already peed 5 times in the house.  Tinkerbell might fit her  ;D  I'm not looking forward to potty training.  Scout was so easy.  He never once peed in the house - ever.  Evidently she's not housebroken.  No history on her since she came in as a stray to a "kill shelter" in Indiana.

Hopefully they'll run eachother ragged  :P

We've been looking for awhile for something on the order of a small version of Scout.  I like the coat where nothing sticks (like snow or rain).  Plus, I love the sweet faces.  I'm guessing she weighs about 22 lbs (Scout is about 37#)  They'll both get weighed tomorrow at the vet.

Right now they're both konked out  ;D

Yup!  Off the streets of Bloomington, Indiana.  Shelby weighs in at 23lbs and Scout @ 39lbs.  They are the perfect match.  They never fight, not even over peanut butter!  They stay out of each others food dishes and always share their toys.  I love watching them play.  Like a cat, she loves to walk along the top of the couch, or sit there and look out the window  ;D   Those videos are from their first day together.  Their cardio has improved so they don't pant nearly as much. Yes, they are very lucky to have such a loving home.  :D

Princess, will you be doing the DNA breed test on Shelby?  Would be neat to see how close she is to Scout!

Yeah, I think I will if they offer the same deal.  The daycare has an open house in November and if the vet is there, I'll do it.  I'd like to have them retest Scout cuz I still don't believe the results - Australian Cattle Dog (ok), Border Collie (not) and Boxer (not).
