I forgot to mention, and this is just purely fyi, that it's "brah" not "bra". A bra as you well know is a female undergarment, unless of course you're Pandae. Locals are very touchy about that because if you use the latter it automatically identifies you as a haole (outsider) and ripe for an ass kicking. Of course, it doesn't matter that much now as I am here and you are on the mainland. Again, it's just as an fyi. In case you visit. One should be aware that Hawaii is indeed the most racist state in the Union but because it's primarily against Whites it doesn't get much air time. We, of course, hate Blacks just as much as any other State. Just because we are out there floating in the middle of the Pacific ocean doesn't mean we aren't proud Americans holding up tradition Americans values and prejudices. God Bless America, Brah.
As another aside, kind of trivial really, but since I've notice some derogatory comments regarding my mother being made I think it would behoove you to know that my mother, mercifully, is no longer of this world. So the insults, and the imagery that it inspires, doesn't have quite the same punch that I think it was intended to. I do have a very Saintly sister who, incomprehensibly, manages to see the good in all things and always "puts her trust in the Lord", would make a much more inviting target for below the belt strikes.
