there's just a completely different atmosphere and attitude that these guys from affliction have compared to the UFC....

almost like they're more professional or something...

love to see dream  and affliction get more established with more cards, and develop a pipeline between fighters to establish they're own version of title holders...

maybe someday make the WAMMA titles the ones that really matter in the world, so that the UFC is forced to make deals with these other org's..

I love seeing two filthy rich guys who knew nothing about MMA a few years ago try to jump in make a run at the MMA game.
Really hard to take them seriously. Cuban and Trump are geniuses though for seeing the opportunity.

I am in the majority when I say that I like the UFC. Nothing wrong with supporting the org that made MMA what it is today.

I like Affliction and will watch Triliogy. I also think very highly of Strikeforce.

I watch and support all MMA. Just because I think Fedor is ducking top fights

has nothing to do with any org.

Do you know who owns Pride? Thanks for making my point for me!HA HA!
Glad we can agree on something!!

The UFC is the biggest organization in the world. Don't make yourself look stupid and try and say otherwise.
Tell me this...Is there any organization that puts on more shows and brings in more money?

I like all MMA though. Not just the UFC. Get it?

With Affliction cancelled, looks like Fedor will have to come up with a new
gameplan to dodge the UFC.

I wanted Affliction to succeed. They had a good run...they managed to put on two good shows ::)

I went 2 both events that Affliction put on over the past year..
It was a win for MMA fans as both events were great...
now the loser's are the Fighters and the Fans...
it would of been a hell of event this upcoming Saturday... :'( :'(
Fedor is going to wind-up in Dream  ;)

I am almost certain this is where he will end up. Dream offers the easiest paydays overall.

Actually I have since changed my opinion. ;D Dream appears to be hurting. They just lost a cable contract.
Not looking good.

Midway through article. If you search around some MMA sites there are more details.

But the Japanese scene is nowhere near as healthy as in Pride’s heyday: October’s Dream show will be the last on the Tokyo Broadcasting System channel, which creates serious doubt about their future; Sengoku is on better footing, but that’s due in part to their reasonable spending. In contrast to Pride’s substantial roster, only Hidehiko Yoshida and possibly Takanori Gomi stand out as fighters making an income there that would appeal to Barnett, who competed there twice. Whether they can still afford him is another matter.

thanks

Sengoku is pretty awesome & I love their rules. Sucks for DREAM, had the potential to be something spectacular
