Am I to take it you've been shot before? I've met a few people who have been shot. One guy I knew in Cali, he said he didn't feel it at first. Then when he saw the blood and realized he'd been shot, it started to feel like a red hot poker was going through his shoulder.

The other guy was a DHS guy I met in Florida. He was a former cop, served active combat in Desert Storm, and who shoots him... his wife.  ::) Can you believe that? He even dared her to do it, ...he put the gun in her hand, and dared her to pull the trigger. He didn't think she would do it. He was wrong. If he had figured out his mistake a split second later, ...he'd have been dead. When he realized she was actually going to pull the trigger... he jumped out of the way as fast as he could. He still got shot, but it didn't penetrate any major organs or his heart (which was what she was going for) Needless to say, ...they're no longer married.  :-\
