Phil can't. He is huge, but just doesn't have the frame to carry Ronnie-like size.

Kai is huge too, but again, i don't think he could ever get that freakiness that Ronnie had. Not to say that Kai isn't freaky, but Ronnie is something else.

phil has great physique...........but you guys are lowballing how much of a fucking mutant ronnie was.............he made other top-teir bodybuilders look like fucking children............i know alot of you dudes on here are like 19-20.............and probably never saw a peak ronnie in person................ti me forgets sometimes............... ......kai, phil, jay............ronnie at the top would make these men his women...............you had to have seen ronnie in person to really appreciate it..................thin k of it this way............jay is still way wider then phil i think we can all agree............well ronnie was way wider then jay..................... ..there has never been a person on the planet earth, that took their physique to a place where ronnie coleman took his between 1998 and 2003.......dot.......... .period..........end of argument.

Ronnie did not need to show stomach distention as he did in that clip and on many other occasions. He could have controlled it easily but it is as if he did not even notice or did not care. A lesser bodybuilder would pay attention to any such detail that is within his control. Also, look at how haphazardly Ronnie would eat compared to Jay who is meticulous about everything. Ronnie had sick genetics and with such an advantage there was no way anyone would catch him until time did.

Taking 20 iu's a day of GH Ronnie didnt need to worry about what he was eating.... just needed to shove down as many calories as possible.

lol well its true!. Right now ronnie is full off season 300+ lbs so yeh he's gonna have a huge waist, wait tell he diets down again, even if he places top 5 at the O thats still good. Now is it a good idea that he'll compete again? IMO no, but if he loves what he's doing then why not?

It's not just the waist thougg, his whole left side is fucked. Lat is still funky, right tri gone, looks like he tore a quad, 50 inch waist...........Ronnie needs to take a big break if he ever wants to come back. Take a whole year off from training, get small, get lots of rehab on his injuries, then think about coming back.

He will NEVER make top 5 at the O again.

i agree ronnie should get small live Kevin did, maybe not that small, but still not train for a year recover, rebuild his phyique etc. Look at Vince Taylor he still looks good yet doesnt have ronnie coleman type genetics. Ronnies what 44 years old now? Vince is 50, so Ronnie has plenty of time to make a comeback. If he comes back now he's gifted enough to place top 5, if he comes back in 2012 when Obama is re elected

he has a chance at the title again

Guess we will have to wait and see.

I just think that Ronnie won't take time off. Right now he's like what, 300lbs........no need for him to be that big. Takeing a year off, no training/appearances would do him very good, but i doubt he would do it.

Ronnie at his prime was a freak. I was lucky to have seen him back in 2003 at Metroflex when he made that ridiculous transformation of 290 or so on stage. He was insane. No bber's ever came close!

I don't totally disagree, but Ronnie was quite light and narrow for a good few years of his competetive career before started piling on the pounds.

phil is talking shit then because his physique doesnt resemble an 80's physique in the slightest. If anything its the opposite - they had rock hard dense muscles that had quality, his are blown up, soft looking muscles that you just know would melt off him in a few weeks the minute he stopped AAS
