colorofchange.org has collected 75,000 signatures. They contacted sponsors and 7 have dropped beck. It seems many people disagree with Becks' statement "Obama is a racist with a deep seeded hatred of white people".

thanks hugoI gotta say i dont really think beck is that far off on this from the rev. wright thing to playing the race card throughout the campaign to his wifes thesis in college. I mean I dont think I would go out and call the man a racist but he does definitly seem to have some deal with the white culture this may just be something against the main stream culture and its simply that the 2 coincide but like I said I dont think beck is to far off here.
Obama has condemned Wright's positions. that's the difference.
Dude was raised by a white family, raised in white culture and is half white. You can't be serious? Maybe he has a problem with factions of white culture, like the people who are racist themselves, but who that isn't racist doesn't? You can nail Obama for a lot of things but I don't think this is a legit thing to nail him on. He clearly has deep connections to both cultures and there's nothing wrong with that. People who accuse him of this, like Beck, are just trying to stur shit up.
after sitting in his church for years, after it was brought up, after public pressure...has his wife apologized for hers? has he apologized for his wifes?youre a bigger tool then I thought if you really by that shit 240 thats nothing more then a political move to cover his ass.
again I said I wouldnt have called him a racist but like I said I think its pretty clear that obama has had or does have some problem with white culture or main stream culture. I dont think thats a far stretch here hugo and I think you would have to agree. His wife obviously does as well per her thesis paper, him sitting in rev. wrights church for what 15yrs doesnt exactly say much for his views on whites either.
I don't think that's clear at all. And you said Beck wasn't far off. Beck and others saying this are just stirring shit. They say this because they want whites to turn on Obama. non racist whites have no problem with blacks until they get clued in that the person hates whites, then it's like, oh yea, well fuck you too. So it's clear what's going on here, you all are playing for the racial division. I fucking hate it when Al Sharpton and Jesse do it. I'm going to call it out when the likes of fucking Beck do it too. And Tony, you shouldn't think Beck is even close on this. Beck is being a dirty rotten scoundrel with this, period.
The advertisers did not leave FOX entirely. They simply allocated their dollars to other shows on the network. Essentially, these other shows will be subsidizing Beck's show. Sounds sort of *socialist* if you ask me. The irony! What I'm wondering is, will Beck's show now be "Less commercials, more bawwing"?
I used to listen to Beck but he yells and whines too much these days. I liked him better on CNN.I don't think Obama is racist...but he identifies with traditional black culture, was a long time member of a curch led by a black liberation theologist and was a champion of black causes/issues even though he is bi-racial abandoned by his African father. He married a black woman who was also very active with these issues, with a degree in African American studies and a thesis "Princeton Educated Blacks and the Black Community". None of these things mean he is racist, but he certainly chose to be deeply involved in issues surrounding the black community. I also heard him speak on reparations once, he said that he is not in favor of reparations currently but thinks the civil rights movement and the surrounding legal decisions did not go far enough. He's also said he was a continued advocate of affirmative action.
Obama says he never heard ANY of that in 20 years of Sundays. Not only is Obama a racist but hes a liar as well.
Intellectuals attend church for networking reasons, not to listen to what's being said.
