yea Providence does suck, at first when you get there, it seems like a really cool town. but the people have their heads so far stuck up their asses. They think they are better than everyone and make it a horrible little turkey town. It has the most gay bathhouses per capita though.

Hartford is ok but I don't see it lasting 2 years, if it even happens once. I live an hour from Hartford and also an hour the other way from NYC, and I can't see this show making it in NYC. NO ONE wants to see lil bodybuilders. Let's face it you go to the show to see FREAKS not lil guys. WTF!?!?!?!?!

Hartford used to have an NHL team, the Whalers. Remember now they are in Carolina if no one wanted to watch NHL Hockey no one is going to watch micro midget bodybuilding.

I lived in Springfield Ma. for the majority of my life (30 minutes from Hartford),and in 30 years that town has literally gone under!

It will be interesting to see if Hartford, Connecticut can sustain an expo, IFBB Men's pro show, an IFBB Men's 202lb and under, and IFBB Women's Bodybuilding contest, an IFBB Figure Pro contest, and an IFBB Pro Bikini contest. Five IFBB Shows, and I am assuming there will be an NPC contest involved too.

The date for this contest is July 23-25th, 2010. It will be called the Europa Battle of Champions.

The question is whether or not will people drive an hour from NYC and other areas around to come to the expo, see the contests, and check out the vendors, among other events also associated with this, perhaps powerlifting, MMA, etc.

Why not take a chance. Very few people thought that Columbus, Ohio would sustain a bodybuilding contest either, let alone an expo.

Unfortunately, big name pros are not interested in doing any shows outside of the Arnold and Olympia. Something needs to be done to force these guys to compete more or the same low attendance problems/show cancellations will continue. I would constrict the number of shows to four per year, up the prize money, and make everyone except for the Olympia winner requalify each year.

Hartford is 2 hours from NYC and I dont see it lasting
