how in the hell do you communicate with them if you don't know sign language?

my mom sales and rents high end furnished homes, and i am helping out one of her decoraters who is deaf. the houses are in Houston, and she has me as her driver and to make sure nobody kidnaps her. (the def girl actually wrote me a note saying that)

how do i communicate with this girl without writting on a note pad all day, or comming off as a asshole?

sorry, what did you say?

seriously, make sure you talk in a normal tone and pace.  Just be sure to enunciate.  If she doesn't understand then maybe note pads will have to do.

yes, she is rather sexy as hell!

she can read lips, but it is creepy as hell to me to have her watching my mouth like that.

i pretty much settled on the notepad idea for now, it seems to be working so far.

you should at least learn the sign language alphabet...I did.  My theory is, people that speak something else could always chose to learn English, but NOBODY chooses to be deaf

i want to focus on my priorities in this order

1) gym
2) building my new motorcycle
3) doing stupid shit on said motorcycle, plus my other motorcycles
4) practice more, and start going to more sniper competitions.

if it isn't on my list i don't waste to much time on it.

i think its the spring that got dislodged.  not sure how to take it all apart, since i am a bit toolless at the moment.  Might pick up some gunsmithing tools and perhaps a vice.  Ticks me off.

you don't need tools. i have repaired weapons in a war zone with a ball point pen, and a rock!!!

i fixed one of my 1911's yesterday with the pvc pipe from my forearm roller.

i think i fixed it.  kinda sorta.  I also spilled solvent on my calander blotter.  Argh. Seems like the slide is to hard to pull back.  This thing is pissing me off.

LOL that was my first thought when i read this...is that bad?  ;D

when i was a personal trainer there was another trainer who was deaf and ppl would call and ask to talk to him......LOL for the first few times i would actually track him down and tell him there was somebody on the phone for him  ;D hahahha took a couple times for me to figure out that he was DEAF!!!! I suprise myself sometimes you would think i was a blonde...
