Author Topic: Who handles the finances, you or your husband? (Read 4149 times)

Since I am a control freak I handle everything. I account for every penny spent even if it's just chewing gum.

I know my wife would probably do a much better job but I don't want to have to ask my wife for money.

BTW we have 3 accts:

Her spending money

My spending money

Our bill money. (Bills we created during our relationship) anthing prior to that you're on your own!

I think it just comes down to people having the same goals. My girl handled everything for two years with no issues and did a better job than I would have. I do it now but should probably have her start again, LOL!

i'm not good with $
drkaje will attest to that $:-\$ if i take 2 grand to a 2 day vacation....i'll spend 2 grand on buying people drinks

i usually hand all my $ to my girl and let her control my spending....

that way i dont spend myself out of house n limb

my dad has had a very high paying job since way before i was born, and my mom has always owned several successful businesses. so i never had trouble controlling money, i was taught at a very young age how to play with money the right way.

I handle 90% of it. Growing up poor and then getting the MBA, I can stretch ten cents into a dollar anytime!
