As in where you take the bar off the squat rack and press overhead. No bounce from the legs or aything, strict shoulder press.

Depends on the range of motion.  Some guys will do a half to 3 quarter rep with 225 when they couldn't do a real one with 185lbs.  Others will lean back and do a standing incline bench press.

I do agree that 225lbs from touching the delts to full extension is damm strong.

I once saw an older guy repping 135 like it was nothing, I guess he did 15-20 reps and quite easily, just that was really impressive to me.

Anything above bodyweight, if there is no layback.

I was always told you should be able to lift your bodyweight over your head.  At 300 I was repping 315 easy for seated front presses and BNP.  I never did standing presses.  And yes I know there is no way I could lift my bodyweight right now. (before the jokes start flying)
No Worries 4 me

I can rep that shit out seated, and imo seated is harder since you can't get a boost with your legs

I can rep 225 for reps 6-8 fairly strict. A tiny bit of leg in it though. That is standing. Military feet together etc I dont know.

225 is a very good lift IMO especi if around 210lb mark or less

For me i am able to press more weight seated as i can use some upper chest. Am I the minority??
