No, you started it. You say no warm up, walk in gym and rep out 225. I, along with others, ask to see it. Then, you say that you need time. I never claimed to be able to rep out 225, then you challenge me to bench/milpress competition. WTF? That's why I challenged you to a BB contest. See how stupid both are? Again, faaar less than 1% of gym members around world can stand mil press 225 for one solid rep.

Bottom line....Can you(fatman) walk into any gym in one hour from now and rep out 225 on stand mil press? Just for clarification, I cannot. I'm guessing that you can't either.

I'll take him up on it too.  I can only do 1, and I can't clean it, I have to take if off a rack.  On the other hand, I weigh 206 right now, and I can walk all the way from my car to the rack to do it, so that should count for something.

Yea sure you would.  Instead just post a video.  Come on bigmouth.  At 206 you must be HUGE.  What is the girl's name you train with if you even train.  Again a newbie with a big mouth.  Where do you guys come from

That's just it..........instead of bettering himself he rather cut down others and use his past, cause that's all he has.

Poor kid really needs to roll away from the buffet table.

hahahaha exactly.  And just think you have NOTHING.  and you know what my past made me money then and it makes me money now.  You are going to be a sad nobody when you get older just like you are now.  Big mouth with nothing to back it up.  And I am fat and still do more than you in life and in the gym.  That must really make you feel like shit like the others.  I would be pissed off too and call me names and shit if it would make me feel better.  Fuck I couldn't imagine having to walk around like you have to.  That would make me feel like shit too.  I have no idea what it is like to be unaccomplished, a failure, a nothing and a nobody.  By the time I was your age I had already won a National and World Title and featured in magazines and newspapers.  You and the others haven't done shit.  Sorry man for your lives.  It really must suck.  I couldn't stand it.  At least you have the INternet to play on and pretend to be someone.  Thank god.

Hey I got a shout out!  Could you call me "kid" next time keef?

I never said I was huge.  I said I can military press 225 once at 206lbs.  BTW, I'm 45 and can still see my abs.  I don't use being 45 as an excuse to gain 200 lbs of lard.  You said you can do "405 easy".  And you challenge me to post a video cuz you can't believe I can press 225 once, but everyone should believe you could do 405?  I don't have a video camera, but I can borrow one.  You pick the date, and I'll post a video of me doing 225 in perfect form 1 time.  I'll have someone stand next to me holding that days newspaper to verify that I am doing it now.  You do the same with 405.

I find it amazing that anyone would come on here and say doing a military press with 225 is very rare.  I swear to god where do you guys train?  I leave most of my training partners in the dust in this exercise but at least everyone of them were able to do at least some reps with 225.  Now 315 I have to admit is something other than myself and several others in Hawaii and the Barbarian Brothers I have not seen at any other gym and I have easily trained at more than 200 gyms.  But 225 is not a big deal unless you are just weak, small, skinny or train at a place like Curves or the local Y or Country Club.  Honestly you kids need to train at a real gym.  Johnnynobody and Swede and skinny weak twinks like them I believe they have never seen anyone lift these kinds of weights.  But some of you guys have to train at a real gym I hope,  I am 50 years old and can go do reps with 225 with no warm up whatsoever.  So if this fat old man can do it so can you

You mean other than the title of the thread?  As in "Whats strong for a standing military press?"  Where do you think the term MILITARY press comes from?  Its called that because the original lift in the Olympics was done standing perfectly straight with feet together like the MILITARY position of attention.  One of us is stupid all right.  Its okay though, you're stupid, but at least you're fat.

i think its very possible that onlyme could rep out 225. he used to be a world class powerlifter/strong man. among bodybuilders 225 is a respected weight, but in powerlifting circles its peanuts.

Then why did he just post asking where did he ever say he could do it standing.  As I said earlier, SS and I trained in a hardcore powerlifting gym.  Several of the guys there have records, some of them world records.  Pat Holloway is one with an 815 deadlift.  I saw two of them do more than 225 in a strict military press.  So I guess we disagree that 225 is peanuts.

There is a world of difference between seated and standing.  SS will tell you, he can do at least 20 seated and, with perfect form, 2 or 3 standing.  If you can do 10 seated, but you don't do standing, you won't be able to do 1.  Peanuts?

So the strongest man in the world can do a 440lb push press, not military press.  What does that have to do with anything?

No genius, SS that posts on here and moderates the Y forum.  Maybe if you keep saying its easy, it will become so.
