Sid breaking his leg always makes me cringe.  It's also ridiculous how many times Brock screwed up in the ring, if he hadn't left it was only a matter of time before he killed someone.

In defence of HHH, the guy taking the Pedigree jumped too hard which took him vertical.

Cervical damage seems to be the most common theme among wrestling injuries.

I didn’t include these before since they’re not quite as dramatic as the above clips.
In fact, unless you knew the story behind the matches, you may not have realized anything happened.

Ain’t karma a bitch.
Same scenario – reversal of a tombstone piledriver with Austin on the receiving end of the finish.

Anyone have the clip where D-low Brown slipped on something a fan through in the ring while trying to do a running powerbomb on Droz? He paralyzed him with that move.

I remember seeing a match with Brock vs Bob Holly where Brock superplexed Holly almost across the ring and it apparently put Holly out for a while with a back injury.

but I can't find a clip of that superplex anywhere..

This is a clip from the Hansen/Vader match in which Vader knocked his eye out of its socket:

I always think about when Taker through Foley from the top of Hell In a Cell through that table and then again through the top of the cage. I know it wasn't a blooper but damn he took some damage. And Foley kept going.

Actually, that first fall Foley took off the cell was a planned fall. The second one was a botch because the cage gave way. That's the fall that hurt him but he continued to wrestle even though the ref and Terry Funk came to the ring to buy him time. Its funny because when both wrestlers were up on top of the cell, you can see as they were walking one part of the cage starts to give way almost causing both wrestlers to fall through, but they kept walking.

I remember watching an interview with Foley and he said that he dislocated his shoulder and put his teeth through his lip in that fall.  Can't believe the amount of pain he must have been in to finish the match.

I hear ya. When I see that match to this day I cringe at both those falls. Then to top it off after taking to big falls, a tooth through the nose and a dislocated shoulder, he proceeds to not only continue but he get thumb tacks from under the ring and takes a fall on them.

And he almost took his head off with that very poorly untimed superkick.

I can't imagine them planning it to go this way, although I'm not sure quite how it was supposed to have gone.

But the way it was executed leaves little to the imagination regarding any other outcome:

The only thing this looks like for certain is a bad idea.

The kick was a potato that apparently caused Bret a concussion.

It was/is uncertain whether Bret had sustained any (smaller) concussions prior to the incident, but this is the one that caused all of his problems, and ultimately, forced him into retirement.

Thank goodness Undertaker didn't break his neck here. That was shocking when this happened!
When I saw that as the event was taking place, I thought for sure he got hurt but Taker is a tough SOB.

If you watch the slow mo you see he tucked his neck at the last second. Undertaker is huge. That suicide dive of his is a huge move. We are so lucky he takes bumps for a living and didn't break his neck there. That to me is up there for most shocking moments. When that happened everyone in the room jumped out of their chairs! Undertaker Mr. WM 20-O! Watch he retires Cena as well.
I guarantee you he is a big user of pain killers and somas.

And before anyone else posts it...
Yes, the name of the move is very ironical.
