Notice the silence from the left on this?

BTW - in the movie Fall of Republic by Alex Jones, this was discussed at length what a farce global warming is.

BREAKING: Obama's Science Czar JOHN HOLDREN INVOLVED in CLIMATEGATE SCANDAL
Gateway Pundit ^ | 11/26/09 | Gateway Pundit

Posted on Thursday, November 26, 2009 1:54:41 PM by American Dream 246

So, will the state-run media be bold enough to hide this, too? Obama’s socialist Science Czar John Holdren, who once said that forced abortions were needed to save the planet, is also involved in the Climategate Scandal.

Holdren, another socialist in the White House, was pushing global cooling before he was pushing man-made global warming.

NewsBusters and Canada Free Press are doing the work the state-run media would rather ignore and hide:

New Climategate revelations made by the Canada Free Press about a White House connection to the scandal will soon make it much more difficult (and ridiculous) for the networks to ignore.

Canada Free Press editor Judi McLeod and Canadian climatologist Dr. Tim Ball reveal the involvement of White House Science Czar John Holdren (photo) in the Climategate Scandal. The picture presented of Holdren is not a pretty one:

Lift up a rock and another snake comes slithering out from the ongoing University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit (CRU) scandal, now riding as “Climategate”.

Obama Science Czar John Holdren is directly involved in CRU’s unfolding Climategate scandal. In fact, according to files released by a CEU hacker or whistleblower, Holdren is involved in what Canada Free Press (CFP) columnist Canadian climatologist Dr. Tim Ball terms “a truculent and nasty manner that provides a brief demonstration of his lack of understanding, commitment on faith and willingness to ridicule and bully people”.

Read the rest here.

Hundreds of emails related to global warming were hacked from the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University in the United Kingdom recently and they're causing a firestorm for those interested in the topic of climate change.

Global warming deniers claim the documents suggest that scientists are pushing an "agenda" that humans are responsible for global warming.

In the hundreds of emails that were stolen and have been taken out of context, there isn't actual evidence of such a plot.

The hacked emails involve both American and European researchers, and according to the New York Times they include "discussions of scientific data and whether it should be released, exchanges about how best to combat the arguments of skeptics, and casual comments -- in some cases derisive -- about specific people known for their skeptical views."

The emails also suggest "bitter feelings" involved in the debate between those on both sides of the issue of global warming and the seriousness of the threat.

One reputable group of scientists, Real Climate, has posted a response on its blog to the allegations about what information is actually contained in the hacked emails:

More interesting is what is not contained in the emails. There is no evidence of any worldwide conspiracy, no mention of George Soros nefariously funding climate research, no grand plan to 'get rid of the MWP', no admission that global warming is a hoax, no evidence of the falsifying of data, and no 'marching orders' from our socialist/communist/vegetarian overlords. The truly paranoid will put this down to the hackers also being in on the plot though.
Despite the lack of evidence of some sort of conspiracy in the scientific community, this criminal activity has created fodder for right-wing groups and websites to promote their own agenda that global warming is not real. This comes at a time when international attention is more and more focused on the climate crisis in advance of the UN climate talks in Copenhagen in December.

Good try fool.  Those emails were already under FOIL requests and never turned over.  This entire scam of globalist warming is unraveling and being exposed for the heist that it is.

I'll admit, as someone who spends most days looking for leaked documents, the package of stolen emails and documents from the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University is pretty juicy. Anything provides insight into the inner-workings of your opponents is pretty much manna from heaven in this line of work.

I have been going through all the files today and I hate to disappoint but it just ain't the scandal climate conspiracy theorists want it to be.

These emails are blissfully being spun by the climate contrarians as proof of some type of worldwide conspiracy by scientists to fake the climate change crisis. Michelle Malkin, who relishes Ann Coulter-esque statements goes so far as to say that call it "the global warming scandal of the century."

Right.

As Brad Johnson writes, it's more likely proof that climate deniers are the crazed conspiracy theorists we always thought they were.

At the center of the conspiracy claim is a quote in a casual conversation between colleagues talking about Mike's Nature "trick."

They are referring to the Michael Mann hockey stick study from ten years ago that has been the subject of attacks by climate skeptic bloggers for many years now. In fact, it got so bad that the US National Academy of Science was called in by the US Senate to look further into the validity of the Mann study.

Not to mention that the study is almost a decade old and thousands of studies have followed since, unfortunately for climate conspirists the NAS exonerated the Mann study finding that:

"The basic conclusion of Mann et al. (1998, 1999) was that the late 20th century warmth in the Northern Hemisphere was unprecedented during at least the last 1,000 years. This conclusion has subsequently been supported by an array of evidence that includes both additional large-scale surface temperature reconstructions and pronounced changes in a variety of local proxy indicators, such as melting on ice caps and the retreat of glaciers around the world, which in many cases appear to be unprecedented during at least the last 2,000 years."

And more importantly, and this is related directly to these leaked emails that are supposed proof of some massive conspiracy, the NAS concluded that:

"Surface temperature reconstructions for periods prior to the industrial era are only one of multiple lines of evidence supporting the conclusion that climatic warming is occurring in response to human activities, and they are not the primary evidence."
In layman terms this means that the Mann hockey stick study is only one of many studies and many lines of evidence that shows that the climate is warming. Even further, they point out that the Mann Hockey Stick isn't even a primary evidence source.

As for the Mann "trick," I would be very impressed that this "trick" was never detected by the NAS report. As Mann himself explains today on Real Climate, the "trick" being refered to is that, "scientists often use the term "trick" to refer to a "a good way to deal with a problem", rather than something that is "secret", and so there is nothing problematic in this at all.

What people like Malkin and others don't understand is that the evidence for climate change is based on decades of research that builds and builds into a solid foundation from which conclusions can be drawn.

It is not the house of cards they want us to think it is. And while these emails don't look great, they are in no way "proof" that climate change is not happening and the grand conspiracy they think it is.

Decades ago Holdren was warning of a coming ice age.   This whole issue is nothing more than an attmept by the left to steal more money from the taxpayer and give it to al gore and his group of hippy freaks.
