Is he exposed to a lot of other dogs?

Right now we do daycare just once a week.  So I guess he is.

Scout & Shelby go 1xweek too, but I still don't think I'd do it  :-\

Don't get a flu shot for myself, never would for my pets.

A good immune system should be able to fend it off.

You have your pup(s) on a healthy diet?

I think so.  I feed dry Fromm   http://www.frommfamily.com/   dog food, duck and sweet potato is the one he gets, broken into 2 feedings per day.  A few times a week he may get some meat left overs from dinner after I eat, he will also get about 8-10 almonds for a treat a few times a week and he gets the regular commercial available treats a few times a day.

I think he is pretty healthy; active, looks younger than 6 YO, coat looks good, moves well and with confidence, eats voraciously.  Cody does on occasion get like this eye infection thing going every so often.  Has been to the vet for it an we get eye ointment to clear it up.  Sometimes it clears up in a couple days, sometimes it lingers and then we do the ointment. He usually picks it up it seems after he visits day care.  It is characterized by yellow mucus and red whites of his eyes.

Fromm is a great company - made the WDJ's top 10.  They're local (to me).  The "commercial treats"  :-\  not so sure... look at the ingredients.  Some of them are AWFUL.

Snausages

Beggin Strips
INGREDIENTS:  Ground Wheat, Corn Gluten Meal, Wheat Flour, Ground Yellow Corn, Water, Sugar, Glycerin, Beef, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrosylate, Bacon Fat Preserved with BHA, Soybean Meal, Salt, Sorbic Acid (a Preservative), Artificial Smoke Flavor, Calcium Propionate (a Preservative), Glyceryl Monostearate, Phosphoric Acid, Choline Chloride, Added Color (Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1, Yellow 6).

Yes I liked the Fromm so far.  LOL I know those commercial treats are garbage but they likes the "good stuff"  Like beggin strips or Puperoni  LOL
