I respond very well off of 500mgs per week so I do agree that more isn't always better...hard work and discipline is key

At a certain point the sides start overtaking the positive gains, ie. excess water, bloat, sex drive issues. increased blood pressure

I've always found 500-750 to be ideal, I have friends that run 2g's a week and they look and feel like shit, red as a tomato from excess blood pressure and swelled up like a water balloon.

Run test from 500mg to 1250 mg per week and have found 750 the best - as others have said though, more doesn't always get better gains.

Uh huh, I felt this as well. Thought I'd just see a marginal change but it kept me fuller and more 3 dimensional like tren would. You tolerate the sides more with time. I used to take AIs up the ying yang and now I take virtually nothing, just some aromasin if my nipples look like they're a bit puffy (even though it's probably just in my head).

Bloating, blood pressure, all that seem to be reduced after a while. I ran a gram for a few weeks to see what it was like and I tolerated it very well. In the past I would have died from a dose like that. Still respond well to the lower doses, but I can tolerate the higher ones too when I want to blast for a bit. 8)

After many years of using and abusing AAS i came up with a cycle guide:

250mg-500mg EW - Moderate gains with slight body weight increase, little to no sides.

750mg-1000mg EW - Major gains with a substantial body weight increase, moderate to little sides.

1250mg-1500mg EW - Extreme gains with substantial body weight increase and major bloating, moderate to uncomfortable level of sides.

1750mg-2000mg EW - Same as above, but very uncomfortable sides to the point i felt almost sick.

Never went any higher.

Seems to me, in my opinion, that 750mg-1000mg is the "sweet spot" for growth with little sides. This is why i recommend the average lifter to never use more than 1000mg. Anything above 1500mg and the strength increase could cause injury and the sides are not worth it, in my opinion.

Just my .02

what would be the least amount of test u could take per week (Long ester ofcourse E or C)that you would still see results on....300mg/week?200mg/week?
guess it would also depend on age and number of cycles...I'm a natural in my mid 30's but I was curious as to the amount of test you would take to say give you the level of test the average 18 year old would have....

250mg of Sust gave me roughly 5 times the amount of free test as the average teenager, this was when i was 25 years old.

I think anything over 100mg a week should give the average joe a decent boost in results, but everyone is different.

I know my dad was taking HRT 200mg every 14 days at 54 years old and he said he felt as if he was in his early 30's again mentally and physically.

cool...thanks man...yea I'm thinkin of HRT or a very low dose test only cycle maybe when I'm 34-35...which would be my first cycle...But I just want to experiment with low doses something to make me feel 18 again...maybe 150-200mg of test E a week.....not lookin to compete or lookin for a huge boost in strength...just more for the health advantages of test and feeling & looking a bit better...

QFT and ditto, around 1500 is where it stops for me at least too.  Went to 3,000 mg's and didn't notice much, but felt like total shit.
