Vera vs Jones YES!

Brandon Vera vs Jon Jones in March! Awesome, Awesome fight. I have to say, Jon Jones is one of my new favorite fighters; he's got an amazing skill set and a humble, respectful personality. The guy has great standup and even better takedowns. He does it all; Judo throws, greco throws, freestyle takedowns and turns. Vera has been sharp lately and I think this could be one hell of a fight.

I think Jones takes this fight.  Vera hasn't been overly aggressive since he came back from his contract dispute.

Bones is the future...no doubt about it....But Vera has the experience and his opponent's have been of a much higher caliber than Jones.....It should be a hell of a fight....now give Jones 2-3 more years and Vera along with most others won't even belong in the same octagon....

I think Bones could be another Anderson Silva -the kid has it all, YOUTH, skill, athlete ,seems like a genuinely good guy, gives God the credit first which tells me he has humility -says a lot about this young man

I have no problem with your make believe friend...it's just the ignorance and arrogance that humility=giving god credit...as if someone that doesn't believe in the fables and fairy tales you cling to cannot be humble just for the sake of being humble...

Nobody has mentioned this, but when Vera fought Coture, it was at HW or 205?

Now in his next fight Vera is going to drop to 205 to fight Jones?

I remember he fought at 205 when he lost to Jardines, and at HW when he beat Mir.

This constant back and forth between weight classes cant be good for Vera.

no he fought randy at 205.(randy competes at 205 now)..as a matter of fact vera's last 5 fights have been at 205...He lost back to back fights at heavyweight against Werdum and tim silvia...then moved to 205...
