the only thing that is steering me away from vegas is the fact that it gets "cold" during the winter months- other than that I love vegas

if wiggs and i hung out we can be a duo called "dark and darker"

Model / Actor / Waiter ?

Interesting professional choices, JNN!

My nephews and nieces were/are in the modeling business. A couple of them did some damn impressive international ads with the late Herb Ritts which you may have seen once upon a time...... The Levi ads shot in Africa where the shirtless guys were rolling some big 'rock' over the tundra, a couple of Calvin underware and t-shirt ads, the famous Joop commercial which gave one his 15+ minutes of ultra-fame which he didn't like in the least, a couple of Scandinavian vodka ads, a couple of cover shots and articles for Weider, etc, etc.

Even a couple of small parts in an Arnold movie - Eraser.

One wanted to quit after his Joop gig, but was convinced to stay in the business with the promise to only shoot him so he could not be identified; so he stayed with it a few more years and was photographed with his head out of the picture.

And then one went into difficult MTV video work in which the typical Hollywood actors refused to do due to the difficulty involved .... A few Madonna Videos in which he did some "Merman" shots for "Cherish" (I think it was Cherish), and gymnastic work in various Janet Jackson gigs, and flying around an auditorium for Usher, etc.

I'm not familiar with the movie/TV production business in Las Vegas; but I do see a lot of filming going on so it might be worth your while to investigate those possibilities while you're living there. If you get hired as an "EXTRA" you won't need an agent, but if you can find a good one to represent you, you will be miles ahead of the wolf-pack.

But the difficult part is finding that agent who will take you on. It's like no one will rep ya if you don't have acting experience, and you can't get acting experience unless someone reps ya.

But don't let that stop ya!

There are tons of books that tell you how to go about doing it. How to become Hollywood's next big thing. Read one and follow through and keep your fingers crossed.

With a ton of luck you could be the next Peter Parker or whatever that Spiderman kid's name is/was.

Believe it or not but one friend of mine received an offer to act (not the major role, but one that would get him lots of attention)  in a major motion picture but he turned it down because he would have had to lose some bodyweight to fit the role.

Things like that rarely happen in a La-La Land though.
