Tim, Pahrump is 45 minutes from LV  the last time I passed through that town on the way to Death Valley. I think it is the only town that has a Prostitute Museum.

JNN, I would think that bartending would be a wise decision on your part. It's a decent job and a hell of a good way to meet lots of interesting people.

I don't know what the bartending job opportunities are in this economy but I've never seen a place where a bar wasn't with a half mile radius ..... and that includes those little towns in Utah. And here in Las Vegas most of the people along the Strip are pretty inebriated 24/7 which means that there has to be a bartender pretty close by.

I prefer the "spit on the floor, shot and a beer, Hogs and Heifers" type of saloon but out here they range from $1 a shot-salons to damn impressive nightclubs that cost ya $40 just to get inside to buy a drink for $16 from a naked lady or pay $900 for the whole dam bottle.

No word from Go4it lately on here but I believe he is working as a bartender on a ship that berths in tropical ports. You might want to ask him about a bartending career if you seek advice in that regards.
