« on: February 14, 2010, 12:25:45 PM »
several jersey and ny bbers were involved with crime most notably dennis tinnerino as can be read about in his bio. also the two boys from bellevue nj phil grippaldi and mike guibilo. the grippers is doing time for selling drugs. while big mike g is probably the most proflific bodybuilder criminal ever  bank robber fbi informant. he has a long history of crime. dominick coroniti and caesar juliani both were murdered under misterious circumstances and thought to be crime related.

Very surprising about Tinnerino.

Are you sure about that?

I've never met the others you mentioned.

I was once the guest of an East Coast 'neighborhood boss' and had a hell of a great time. Someone threatened me in a gentlemanly manner that he'd have to break my hands if I went into my wallet because he insisted that everything was "on the house compliments of the neighborhood".

In fact I had quite a few experiences with reknown figures of this sort and in every case I had a pleasant experience with some darn fine indivivuals with never a mention of criminal activity.

I'm the kind of person who walks right up and says "Howdy!" until I'm told to shut the f...k up, but that has yet to ever happen, so I have met some of the best and most interesting people on this planet in my lifetime. Not each and every one of them just yet, but I'm still tryen.

Some stories are best not discussed though, Keith. (Mr Noworries!)

I have the full picture of Mike , Denie, and Harold.
back in 1968 We sold a leg press to Mike  that we made in High school metal shop .
The guy was incredable  Back then he had 25 Inch arms  and would wear a bulky white sweater  and a sports coat over that.
He would ride by in his red vette with the hertz shifter which he broke from  changing gears too hard.
Him and Phil use to work out in Mike's basement with 7 foot ceilings. Phil had 19 inch arms at 19 years old.

One time Mike robbed the pizza place across the street wearing a mask..lol
they sent 6 cops to his apartment. He told them he would go after he finished his pie. So they waited .

The picture with Twiggy was from the cheeta night club and the fourth guard was Gus the Greek.
I'm proboly one of the few to see a picture of Mike with his shirt off. He was very solid.

MUSCULAR DEVELOPEMENT was such a great magazine, i actually liked that the most at of all the mags back in late 70,s and early 80,s. i remember going to the magazine stands when i was very young and praying id see a cover of a muscle magazine that i could buy, i remember seeing a brand new cover of joe weiders MUSCLE BUILDER or MUSCULAR DEVELOPEMENT sitting in the rack and i couldnt wait to rip off the plastic and see pictures of ARNOLD,FRANCO,ZANE,MENTZER ECT and read about their training programs. they where some great times cause back then i didnt know about steroids much or the corrupt politics involved in bodybuilding
