#2 irreversible is pretty bad.  after a similar discussion as this one where people were talking about fucked up movies, I actually ordered this one for cheap.  pretty graphic stuff... in fact, the ex wife walked in on me watching it and started yelling at me telling me I was fucked in the head for watching such trash.  

I didn't particularly like the movie, but that incident made the purchase feel worthwhile.

Anyone ever see the movie "Blindness" with Jullianne Moore there are some heavy scenese in it - not as bad as the shit posted here but pretty disturbing!

That's one of the two I posted, it's called Old Boy and it's Korean... download a torrent , it's almost impossible to find a real dvd copy unless you have access to an asian mall...great fucking movie

August underground is basically a special effects demonstration/simulated snuff/how gross can we go...

To me, that's not longer a movie. Just a series of scenes showing horrible torture....not interested in these types of films.

There's no plot to hold them together.

May as well just watch real death/torture/execution on one of those sick video websites, ogrish...rotten...etc

I hear you. Truth be told, I haven't seen any movies from the August underground series nor have I seen Mu Zan E, but those names always show up in IMDB threads about fcuked up films. The 'Shocking Asia' series is supposed to be pretty stomach churning too. No interest in seeing shit like that anymore, but I thought I'd mention it here in case someone wanted to look it up in IMDB or maybe even watch some of the films listed.
